Software Quality meets IoT

The 7th World Conference for Software Quality – to be held from March 20th-22nd, 2017 in Lima, Peru – will bring together international software experts, thought leaders, innovative practitioners and inspiring speakers from industry and academia. Three days of remarkable keynotes, intensive sessions, practical tutorials and
workshops, EXPO and an incredible social event will together make up this unique event.

In reference to the topic “Software Quality meets IoT”, IoT includes both consumer electronics and industrial applications, integrating complex devices and systems with networked sensors and software. With so many electronic devices having network connectivity, every manufacturer of electronic devices will essentially be in the software business. Gartner estimated that there will be about 6.4 billion connected “things” on the IoT by the end of this year. The quality of the software
is critical, especially in situations where safety, security or human life is exposed to risk if the software fails.

The Peruvian territory has always been a cultural hub, spanning from the Norte Chico civilization in Caral, to the Inca Empire. On top of a growing IT scene, Peru is home to one of the world’s most exciting fusion cuisines and diverse landscapes in the world. From the top of Monte Picchu to the coast in Lima, Peru has an international atmosphere and contrasting juxtaposition of new and old. We aim to mirror this spirit in all events surrounding the 7th WCSQ.

Join us in Peru and enjoy an extraordinary experience while gaining knowledge, contacts and know how
invaluable to your career!
